Today was a sunny day and being Sunday, Nate and I decided to see more of Sitka. We've only been here 5 months, it's about time! This is only our 2nd day off together since May 3rd. Poor us, I know. . .
We live in the Tongass National Forest, a true rainforest.
Nate stole the camera from me shortly into our walk. (typical . . . he whines that I am so slow because I'm stopping to take photos, but the truth comes out: he just wants to be the one to show me up! kidding . . .) This is his proud photo of some mushrooms. Surely they've got to be poisonous!
