and thanks for the comment :) I'm actually back in Michigan, teaching at a local high school, though. I just never changed the address for my blog.
For as long as I've known him, Mark has wanted to go back to Alaska. Truthfully, I've 'heard' about its beauty but have never had a real desire to go (other than to accompany him). He'd be glad to know that your pictures are piquing my interest like no other! You really know how to capture that beauty he talks about. (Although, let's be honest for a minute, he doesn't exactly use the word 'beauty'. Haha!) I'd love to see it all with my own eyes someday.
Thanks, Karen and Jennifer! You really need to come to Alaska some day. But don't just limit yourself to Sitka; the state is HUGE and stunning anywhere in the state. That's what's fun- always more to explore. Yeah----guys talking about "beauty"--not really in their vocab, hey? :)
